Our client is the premier provider of vertical industry focused enterprise software and services based on Microsoft Axapta. Our client focuses on providing innovative solutions for food and beverage, multi-channel retail, wholesale distribution and manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior .NET/C# Developer will be expected to:
• Implement and follow SDLC based on functional requirements and existing code base.
• Interface/Class design and implementation.
• Code and test using Unit Testing practices.
• Support production implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Develop/update appropriate systems documentation.
• Technical documentation skills
• Application Architect and Design.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Senior developer, 8+ years w/previous experience as lead developer of complex .NET app
• C# - Min. 4 year’s experience.
• SQL Server 2000/2005 – Min. 5 year’s experience.
• COM+ Interop
• Web Services, WSE 2.0
• .NET NT Services
• Subversion
• Nice To Haves: C++, .NET WinForms, ASP.NET (Http Handlers, Http Modules), ISAPI, HTML, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript, and Unit Testing.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree required; an Advanced degree a plus.
Certifications, Licenses and Additional Requirements
Candidates need to be a highly experienced senior developer, who is highly proficient in architecting and implementing .NET applications based on .NET 2.0. Candidates must have a very strong C# and SQL skills to quickly adapt to a very complex existing environment under a tight deadline.
